Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of condolences to President of Argentina Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. APA reports that the letter says: "I am deeply saddened by the news of the deaths and injuring of many people as a result of train crash in Buenos Aires.
On behalf of the Azerbaijani people and myself, I offer deep condolences to You, families and relatives of the victims, the people of Argentina due to this tragedy and wish recovery to the injured peopleâ€.
On February 22, the commuter train in Buenos Aires smashed into the buffers as it came into a station. As a result of the accident 50 people were killed and 600 injured.
