During the meeting, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov told about achievements of Azerbaijan social and economic success, as well as familiarized with the structure and activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.
In his turn, the Turkish minister expressed his satisfaction with the growth of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all fields.
He noted the need for further expansion of cooperation among relevant agencies of both countries in disaster management, joint training sessions, meetings and training exercises.
Turkish Minister Idris Naim Shahin praised the work of the Azerbaijani rescuers in addressing the consequences of the devastating earthquake in the Turkish province of Van.
