Two earthquakes measuring 6.0 and 5.7 in magnitude have been recorded near Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula, APA reports.
According to the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Survey of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the earthquakes occurred on July 15 with a six-minute interval between them.
The epicenter of the 6.0-magnitude earthquake was located 210 kilometers southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of 64.6 kilometers.
The epicenter of the second earthquake, measuring 5.7, was located 206 kilometers from the city at a depth of 72 kilometers.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
