The Turkish Football Federation has punished 102 football players found to have participated in betting games, APA reports, citing NTV.
The Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) announced that Galatasaray players Eren Elmalı and Metehan Baltacı were suspended from football for 45 days and 9 months, respectively.
At the same time, Konyaspor player Ndao received a 12-month suspension.
Note that, within the scope of the investigation, the names of 1,024 players found to have participated in betting activities were revealed.
