It was proposed to hold the Turkish Super Cup match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe in Azerbaijan's city of Khankandi, APA reports.
This proposal was made by Turkish politician Sinan Oğan.
According to the politician's post on the X platform, if it is a must for the game to be held in a foreign country, then let the mentioned game be held in Khankandi: "Otherwise, this game suits the Turkish capital."
Note that the Super Cup game was supposed to be played in Saudi Arabia yesterday. However, due to some prohibitions, the teams refused to play.
Recall that Sinan Oğan was one of the candidates for Türkiye's latest presidential elections.
