The Super Cup match between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray was officially postponed, APA reports.
The players were not allowed to enter the field wearing T-shirts with the image of the founder of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray wanted to pay tribute to Atatürk on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the founding of Türkiye, but the Saudis not only forbade them to wear T-shirts with the image of him but also did not want them to sing the Turkish national anthem before the match.
