The tournament will be called the Intercontinental Cup.
Champions of all confederations will participate in the tournament.
Asian, European and American teams will compete in the tournament called "FIFA Intercontinental Cup".
According to the announced format, there will be 3 rounds until the final.
In the "A" stage, the winner of the Asian Champions League or the winner of the African Champions League will face the champion of the Australian and Oceania Champions League.
The winner of this match will face the champion of the Asian Champions League or the champion of the African Champions League (whichever did not play in the previous round).
They will advance to the "B" stage and face the champion of the North, Central American Champions League against the champion of the Libertadores.
The winning teams of "A" and "B" stages will meet on December 14, 2024.
The winner of this stage will face the winner of the UEFA Champions League on December 18, 2024.
