Azerbaijan’s FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev has been assigned to officiate the Croatia vs Faroe Islands match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Apasport.az reports.
The 38-year-old referee will be assisted by Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali, while Elchin Mesiyev will serve as the fourth official.
Portuguese referee Tiago Martins has been appointed as VAR, with his compatriot Bruno Esteves serving as AVAR.
The match is scheduled to take place on November 14 at the Stadion Rijeka in the city of Rijeka.
