United are not mathematically eliminated from the Champions League but are dead last in Group A and will need a lot to go their way on Matchday 6 to reach the last 16.
Arsenal, meanwhile, booked their berth in the knockouts with a resounding 6-0 win over Lens, while Bayern Munich and Real Madrid clinched first place in their respective groups with draws at home.
