Joseph Blatter attended AFFA administrative building opening ceremony

FIFA and UEFA presidents have participated in the opening ceremony of the new administrative office of AFFA. The Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov, AFFA secretary general Elkhan Mammadov, Serbia Football Federation president, Ukraine Football Federation vice president and Turkey Football Federation representative were present too. In his opening speech Elkhan Mammadov extended thanks to FIFA and UEFA presidents for their participation. He spoke of the Hat Trick, Goal programs and state care for football.
â€œThe recent projects covered the building of Shafa Sport-Health centre and 40 synthetic-surface as well as reconstruction works of Tofig Bahramov stadium. The steps are being taken according to the presidential decreeâ€. Platini opened his speech quoting the French proverb. â€œThe more the marriage lasts the more it lives. Such Trilateral cooperation between FIFA, UEFA and FIFA is very important. I am very happy to see smiling faces of young footballers in the opening ceremonyâ€.
Blatter regretted that Ramiz Mirzayev was absent in the opening ceremony. â€œI regret that my close friend Ramiz Mirzayev has not joined us. Letâ€™s send him energy. We are attending the opening ceremony of the house of Azerbaijan football. I wish successes to Azerbaijan football familyâ€.
Azad Rahimov brought the participants back to the history. â€œI remember well that the place we are staying was in ruins. We see a beautiful building in this place. Azerbaijan state is plating important role in the building of new sport facilities and sites
