- I focus my attention on the match with Ukraine on September 8. It is the match to be held within 2008 European championship qualifying leg. I will think over the friendly match with Azerbaijan only after it. Georgian team should approach every match seriously. The opponent makes no difference. Italy or Azerbaijan. We do not distinguish official match from friendly match. The footballers should approach every match seriously
- Both official match and friendly match with Azerbaijan are of importance for Azerbaijanâ€¦
- Of Course. I intend to test some new footballers in the match with Azerbaijan. Nevertheless the result is very important. We will play for victory in Baku.

- It is not related to the match with Ukraine. We could meet Faroe Islands. Georgia ties to make maximum use of the friendly matches of the UEFA. We negotiated with many federations. Some of them offered to hold commercial match. As far as I know Azerbaijan is interested in holding friendly match on September 12. Azerbaijan proposed to hold the friendly match

- We understand desire of fans to watch Kakha Kaladze and Kobiashvili in Baku. The point is that the new footballers should be tested first of all. Those footballers could replace Kaladze and Kobiashvili in future. Secondly we made or decisions taking into account their clubsâ€™ wishes.
Kobiashviliâ€™s team Shalke is to play against German Bavaria. Taking this into consideration we allowed Kobiashvili to attend his club.

- The football is getting more popular in the whole world. Azerbaijan is not exception. Your countryâ€™s businessmen are making investment in the local football. These steps will yield fruits in the future. As to Azerbaijanâ€™s national team I intend to study your teamâ€™s match returning from Ukraine. Georgian football federation has good relations with AFFA. It is not problem for them to get your teamâ€™s matches video.

- Team is established not in a year. Steps yield fruits in three or for years. Of course our results are not satisfactory. We scored 6 points yet. We scored these goals with Faroe Islands. The Georgian football is developing. We struggled against the world champions within 60 seconds. We played well against Scotland. The match with Ukraine to be held tomorrow is very important for us. In any case the development of the Georgian football is fact. It is so and should not be subject to the discussion.
- Do you watch the game of Georgians playing in Azerbaijan? Do you intend to invite to the national team the footballers playing in Azerbaijan?
- Georgian national team is always open to every footballer. Wee can invite them in the future. This is complex issue. The new generation is growing in the Georgian football. Our leading footballers are beyond 30 and they need to be replaced. The new footballers should be ready to play in the national team.
