Milan wins Champions League cup

Italian AC Milan has become a winner of Champions League for the seventh time, APA-Sport reports.
The team won over Liverpool (England) 2-1 in final match in Olympic stadium in Athens. Carlo Ancelotti managed to revenge for defeat 2 years ago in Istanbul, Turkey.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti: â€œThis victory was very important for the team and the president. We achieved the goal for director staff gave me time to form a team. This victory was born in November last year during very hard time of the season. We could have lost everything but we could stand. As for the rival, Liverpool played well and didnâ€™t let Milan show its playâ€.
Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez: â€œI should cogratulate Milan. We controlled over the game in first half. We were unlucky in first goal. Besides, referee Herbert Fandel didnâ€™t compensate the time wasted in second half. Now we should try to form much stronger team.
