“As you know, the president has given an instruction on privatization of state-owned enterprises. A part of shares of the state-owned enterprises may be put up for sale in the future. However, the companies have many works to do for this purpose. One of these is application of management standards, increase of transparency and provision of publicly available financial statements. SOCAR meets these standards. Therefore, SOCAR’s shares may be put up for sale whenever. However, other companies are not ready for it yet”, he said.
