Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. The U.K. referendum results will have a negative but limited impact on Russia's economy, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said Friday, Nasdaq reported.
"For Russia it means a drop in oil prices, the ruble weakening, higher volatility on financial market. [These are] unpleasant events but this volatility is a fraction of what we have passed through so this event will have a limited impact on internal economic dynamics," Mr. Siluanov said.
"The task for Russia's economic policy is to be ready for negative scenarios of the global economic development, which means a need to use conservative forecasts when planning," finance minister said.
