Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. As of May 1, 2016 the deposits in Azerbaijan-based credit organizations made AZN 22,558.1 mln, up AZN 3.727 bln or 20% compared to a year earlier. In April, the deposits rose AZN 563.5 mln or 2.44%.
AZN 7.685 or 34.1% of deposits was household savings. The savings fell AZN 32.2 mln or 0.4% year-on-year.
At the same time, legal entities’ deposits stood at AZN 14,873.1 mln, up AZN 3,759.2 mln or 33.8% from a year ago.
In legal entities’ deposits, AZN 6,182.4 mln or 41.57% belonged to financial organizations, AZN 8,690.7 mln or 58.4% - to non-financial organizations.
4,334,500,000 of deposits are in manat, 18,223,500,000 in foreign currency.
