Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. As of August 1, 2016, the cash in circulation stood at AZN 6,442.4 million, down 8.15% or AZN 571.3 million from previous year.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics that the cash in circulation increased AZN 135.4 million or 2.15% in July.
Generally, compared to early 2016, the cash in circulation rose AZN 1,025.6 million or 18.93% in July.
This process has started since August 2014. Since that time, the cash in circulation increased only in May 2015.
Cash in circulation/money supply ratio makes 74.7%.
