In January-September 2024, AZN 12 billion 711,1 million or 3,9% less in comparision with corresponding period of the previous year were invested in the fixed capital in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, the volume of investments in the oil and gas sector decreased by 8,4%, and the volume of investments directed to the non-oil and gas sector decreased by 1,6.%. AZN 6302,0 million or 49,6% of the used investment were spent on production areas, AZN 4743,8 million (37,3%) were spent on service areas, and AZN 1665,3 million (13,1%) were spent on the construction of residential houses. Domestic investments accounted for AZN 10578,7 million or 83,2% of the investments directed to the fixed capital. AZN 9193,0 million or 72,3% of the investments directed to the fixed capital were spent directly on the implementation of construction and installation works.
