Joint investment projects needed among regional countries - Uzbek Minister

"There is a need for joint investment projects among regional countries," Uzbekistan's Minister of Digital Technologies Olimjon Umarov said during a joint discussion with government representatives from Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan at the fourth INMerge Innovation Summit held today in Baku, Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.

"Regional countries should support the expansion of startups and the development of online trade. Barriers in the trade sector must be eliminated. For this, legislative frameworks need to be reviewed. Additionally, regional countries can implement joint programs in the field of digital technologies and exchange experience and knowledge," the Minister added.
