Inflation is forecasted to be 3% in Azerbaijan in 2020, APA-Economics reports citing newly-published statement of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to the report, prices of consumer products and services will increase by 2.8% in 2019, 3% in 2020. However the Fund forecasted these figures relevantly 3.2% and 3.3% earlier.
Note that according to the mid-term forecasts of Azerbaijani government, inflation will be 3.7% in 2019, 4.6% in 2020.
Remind that inflation level was 1.4% in Azerbaijan in 2018
