Dividends on shares of the Southern Gas Corridor will be paid to SOFAZ for the first time this year

This year, for the first time, dividends on state-owned shares of Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) CJSC (USD 233.1 million or AZN 396.2 million) will be paid to the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), this was reflected in the opinion of the Chamber of Accounts on the draft budget of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025, APA-Economics reports.

It was noted that at the same time, dividend payments are planned to be made from 2026 on the SOCAR STAR Oil Refinery or Star Aegean project in Türkiye.
