From January to May 2025, nearly 7.8433 billion AZN in taxes were collected into the state budget through the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, fulfilling 105.7 percent of the forecast, APA-Economics reports citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
It was noted that compared to the corresponding period last year, tax revenues increased by 344.2 million AZN or 4.6 percent.
Revenues from the non-oil and gas sector amounted to nearly 5.7162 billion manats. Compared to the same period in 2024, tax revenues from this sector increased by 9.1 percent. Of the taxes paid, 72.9 percent came from the non-oil and gas sector, and 27.1 percent from the oil and gas sector.
