The state budget revenues for the period of January-May this year amounted to AZN 17,138.0 million, which is AZN 639.7 million or 3.9% higher than the five-month forecast, the Ministry of Finance told APA-Economics.
The breakdown of revenues is as follows: collections through the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy reached 7,843.3 million AZN, exceeding the forecast by 423 million AZN or 5.7%; revenues through the State Customs Committee amounted to 2,589.5 million AZN, exceeding the forecast by 2.5 million AZN or 0.1%; revenues through the State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy totaled 18 million AZN, surpassing the forecast by 3.7 million AZN or 25.9%; transfers from the State Oil Fund amounted to 6,033.8 million AZN, fully meeting the forecast at 100%; and other revenues reached 398.4 million AZN, exceeding the forecast by 297.2 million AZN or 3.9 times. Revenues from paid services of organizations funded by the state budget amounted to 255 million AZN, which is 86.7 million AZN or 25.4% less than the forecast.
State budget expenditures for the first five months of 2025 amounted to 13,691.8 million AZN, which is 96.5% of the forecasted 14,195 million AZN.
