Capital expenditures of the state budget are forecasted to be AZN 11,794.4 million by the end of the medium-term period, with a decrease of AZN 3581.4 million or 23.3% compared to the approved indicator of 2024, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Finance.
It was noted that the implementation of the Great Return Program and the strengthening of the country's defense capability and security constitute an important part of the state budget's capital expenditures in the medium term.
It is predicted that the expenses related to the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories will amount to AZN 14 billion 612 million in 2025-2028, which has a specific weight of 28.9 percent in capital expenses.
