In January-May 2025, Azerbaijan produced 50 billion 99.5 million manats of gross domestic product, or 1.5 percent more than the same period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
It was noted that the added value in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 3 percent, while the non-oil and gas sector increased by 3.9 percent.
36.2 percent of GDP production was in industry, 9.9 percent in trade; repair of vehicles, 7.0 percent in transport and warehousing, 6.2 percent in construction, 4.0 percent in agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 2.8 percent in tourist accommodation and public catering, 1.8 percent in the information and communication sectors, 21.7 percent in other sectors, and net taxes on products and imports accounted for 10.4 percent of GDP.
GDP per capita was 4896.1 manat.
