In January-August of the current year, value of imported food products to Azerbaijan, has been USD 996, 8 mln., according to the calculations, conducted by APA-Economics citing State Customs Committee’s report.
In reporting period, value of imported food products has been USD 122, 7 mln. or 14% more in comparison with corresponding period of the previous year. Generally, import of food products has made up 10.62% of the total import of the country in the first 8 months of current year.
Note that fruits and vegetables, and wheat are mostly required food products.
