The duration of exempting the import and sale of second and third level electric energy chargers for cars with an electric engine from value added tax (VAT) has been extended for another 2 years, it was reflected in the amendment to the Tax Code approved by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
According to the law currently in force, the import and sale of second and third level electric chargers for electric vehicles were exempted from VAT for a period of 3 years from January 1, 2022, that is, until January 1, 2025.
According to the amendment, the duration of exempting the import and sale of second and third level electric chargers for cars with an electric engine from VAT has been extended for another 2 years.
