NBC Bank gets fivefold increase in deposit portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, Azerbaijan-based NBC Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 37.414 million, up 55% on a year earlier.
The bank said loan portfolio rose 84.2% to AZN 30.516 million, deposit portfolio jumped fivefold to AZN 12.785 million, total capital went up 32.6% to AZN 14.875 million and authorized capital jumped 27.6% to AZN 13.589 million.
Consumer loans grew 96.5% to AZN 29.640 million.
Revenue for January-September increased by 2.4 times% over the past year to AZN 6.241 million and expenditures rose by 3.2 times to AZN 5.441 million.
Profit rose 26.8% to AZN 0.8 million and net profit increased 19.3% to AZN 0.717 million.
The bank established 2 branches, 1 ATM and 15 POS terminals over the past year. The number of employees rose 44.4% to 130.
Established in 1992, Ruzi Bank was renamed as NBCBank in 2002. The bank operates 6 branches, 6 bureaux de change, 6 ATMs and 44 POS-terminals.
