YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan posts 27% rise in loan portfolio

Bakı. Elnur Hüseynquluyev – APA-Economics. As of October 1, YakiKredi Bank Azerbaijan’s (former KoçBank Azərbaycan) assets stood at AZN 108.775 million, up 26.5% on a year earlier.
The bank said loan portfolio rose 18.4% to AZN 13.259 million, deposit portfolio increased 13.8% to AZN 67.459 million, total capital grew 89.2% to AZN 22.083 million and authorized share capital reached AZN 6.349 million.
Consumer loans more than tripled to AZN 2.972 million.
Revenues for January-September rose 94% to AZN 18.947 million and expenditures more than doubled to AZN 14.497 million.
Profit rose 21% to AZN 4.450 million and net profit increased 21.3% to AZN 3.421 million.
The bank established 3 ATMs and 17 POS terminals over the past year. The number of the bank’s staff rose 67.4% to 97 and salary increased 6.8% to AZN 1 264.
YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan, owned by Turkey’s YapiKredi Bank (80%) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) (20%), has been in operation since 2000.
The bank operates 3 branches, 13 ATMs and 39 POS terminals.
