Annual profit of insurance companies soars 24% in Azerbaijan

The State Insurance Supervision Service under the FinMinistry told APA that during the reporting year, total incomes of insurance company increased by 20.3% to AZN 273.290 mln, as well as main operation incomes grew by 31% to AZN 266.730 mln, investment incomes soared 18% to AZN 23.460 mln, subrogation incomes rose 58% to AZN 1.220 mln.

Total expenses on companies made AZN 226.840 mln, up 20% fro 2010. In the structure of expenses, the operation incomes rose 18% to AZN 159.820 mln. The amount of other expenses grew by 42% to AZN 3.73 mln.
