A final agreement cannot be reached without the participation of representatives from Kyiv, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
He said that Russia highly appreciates the US mediation efforts regarding Ukraine.
"As for the settlement, you know that the Americans are continuing their mediation and peace efforts. We highly appreciate this. However, of course, a final settlement cannot be reached without the participation of someone from Kyiv who will take responsibility," the Kremlin spokesperson emphasized.
