Azerbaijan widens application of insurance in automobile, agriculture and construction sector

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. In near future, Azerbaijan will join Green Card system, Deputy FinMinister Azer Bayramov said, APA reports.

To him, in term of to ginger the development of insurance market in the country in the next year, the FinMinistry will realize complex works in several directions, including insurance of agriculture, compulsory insurance and establishment of automated system on compulsory insurance types.

Bayramov noted that one of the measures to be taken in future would be related to implementation of improvement works in the sphere of insurance of agriculture in the country: â€˜This type of insurance need serious improvement. Agricultural insurance has wide potential in the country and this priority is one direction. Another priority spheres â€“ automation of compulsory motor vehicle insurance, within which it is planned to join the Green Card system. In order to join this system, e-signature and e-registration of transactions must be applied firstly.
