Currency reserves of CBA rises 5.4% since the beginning of year

CBA told APA that the amount of foreign currency reserves grew by $154.4 mln or 1.4% within June.
Note that, the reserves saw $59.8 mln or 0.6%-decline in May. This was connected with strengthening of dollar against euro during that period.
Remind that, in December, 2011, the amount of currency reserves soared $3.454 bn or 49.2%. This growth was due to purchase of a great sum of currency at the market.
