ADB starts technical assistance on compulsory transfers

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Asian Development Bank started technical assistance on compulsory transfers to member states from Central Asia and Southern Caucasus.
According to ADB representation in Baku, the assistance aims to define the voids among the ADB and local management methods and prepare methods in planning and implementation of compulsory transfers.
â€œControl to compulsory transfer was entrusted to Ministry of Finance under the order of President dated to February 15, 2011. Ministry approved to operate as coordinating organization for technical assistanceâ€.
Yesterday, the delegation led by ADB specialist for social development Jose Tiburcio Nicolas met with Consultation Group under the Ministry of Finance. This group was established to operate jointly with ADB team and compulsory transfer team within technical assistance. Technical assistance will be completed in February, 2013.
