Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Kapital Bank OJSC has started the application of Cash by Code service. The bank told APA that With “Cash by Code” service even those who don’t have plastic cards can take money from ATMs.

To send money via Cash by Code a customer has to - insert his/her plastic card into ATM, and chose the language he/she prefers; tape a PIN code; chose Payments service in menu; in Cash by Code menu, confirm that he/she agrees to pay commission for the service; tape the mobile number of the person who will receive the money, and also tape the sum of the transfer. The system generates a two-part code. The first part of the code is printed by ATM as a receipt, while the second part is sent to the recipient of the money as an SMS.

The sender must inform the recipient of the first part of the code as to receive cash the recipient has to tape both parts of the code in ATM.

Both parts of the code are in effect within 24 hours since being generated. If the transfer is not cashed within 24 hours, the sender will be reimbursed for the sum he paid in commission.

At present, Kapital Bank has 450 ATMs.
