Bank Nikoil increases deposit portfolio by 67%

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2012, Azerbaijan-based Bank Nikoilâ€™s assets stood at AZN 179.697 mln, up 0.8% from previous year.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 0.5% to AZN 150.666 mln, as well short-term loans (up to 12 months) rose by 3.7 times to AZN 43.120 mln, long term loans made AZN 68.600 mln, consumer lending increased by 22% to AZN 101.605 mln.

Bankâ€™s deposit portfolio surged 67% to AZN 109.163 mln, including term deposits â€“ by 43 times to AZN 92.262 mln, demand deposits â€“ by 56% to AZN 16.900 mln, populationâ€™s deposits â€“ by 71% to AZN 90.158 mln.

Total capital decreased by 3.9% to AZN 31.596 mln, including authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 22.5 mln.

Note that, total income soared 7.7% to AZN 33.049 mln, expenditures â€“ 11% to AZN 30.150 mln. Profit dropped 18% to AZN 2.899 mln.

Remind that, Nikoil IKB has been in operation since 1997. The bank operates 14 branches, 21 ATMs and 60 POS-terminals across the country.
