Azer-Turk Bank gets 37% rise in consumer lending

Baku. Elnur Huseyngulyev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Azer-Turk Bank’s assets stood at AN 64.930 mln, up 5.9% from 2010’s results.

Bank says loan portfolio soared 25% to AZN 39.150 mln, as well consumer lending surged 37% to AZN 16.789 mln, short-term loans (up to 12 months) increased by 33% to AZN 6.130 mln, long-term loans – by 24% to AZN 33.019 mln.

Deposit portfolio made AZN 29.545 mln, as well population’s deposits – AZN 15.649 mln, term deposits – AZN 18.285 mln, demand deposits – 11.260 mln.

Total capital climbed 5.8% to AZN 12.859 mln, including authorized capital increased by 5.8% to AZN 11.624 mln.

Total income soared 6.2% to AZN 8.113 mln, expenditure increased by 8.1% to AZN 6.916 mln. Consequently, profit made AZN 1.197 mln.

Remind that, Azer-Turk Bank has been in operation since 1995. The bank operates 4 branches, 7 ATMs and 37 POS-terminals across the country.
