Access Bank borrows loan from abroad

Baku. Elnur Husyenguluyev – APA-Economics. Access Bank borrowed $15 mln from European Fund for Southeast Europe.

Bank says this credit was given for 5 years. Bank has already received $7.5 mln-first tranche. Second tranche will be received in February, 2012. The loan will be directed to financing of credit and micro business in the country.

Chairman of Bank’s Board of Directors Andrew Pospielovsky says this is the first credit that is received from EFSE.

Note that, EFSE has been in operation since 2005.

Remind that, Access Bank has been in operation since 2002. The bank operates 28 branches, 29 ATMs and 49 POS-terminals across the country.
