Gunay SÄ±gorta sees 25% decline in revenues last year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. The volume of insurance premiums collected by Gunay Sigorta during 2011 amounted to AZN 485.289 thousand, down 25% compared to last year.

During the reporting period, the payments on insurance risks rose 18.84% to AZN 197.501 thousand.

Volume of insurance premiums on â€œInsurance of property from fire and other risksâ€ dropped 2.5% to AZN 281.160 thousand; on â€œMotor vehicle insuranceâ€ declined by 25% to AZN 134.386 thousand.

Most of the funds were paid on â€œMotor vehicle insuranceâ€ (AZN 109.821 thousand, 8% growth), AZN 63.320 thousand on â€œInsurance of property from fire and other risksâ€ (45% annual growth).

Remind that, Gunay Sigorta started to operate in 1992. It serves on 2 compulsory and 18 voluntary types of insurance.
