Expressbank increases assets by 28% last year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2012, assets of Expressbank made AZN 172.310 mln, up 28% compared to previous year.

During the reporting period, bankâ€™s loan portfolio rose 65% to AZN 81.441 mln, deposit portfolio dropped 0.15 to AZN 74.247 mln, as well as total capital increased by 36% to AZN 79.514 mln, authorized capital soared 31% to AZN 66.672 mln.

Number of total customers rose 29% to 41,650, number of individuals rose 28% to 41,435, legal entities slipped 1.4% to 215. Number of active plastic cards increased by 15% to 29,417, as well as number of debit cards soared 13% to 28.998, credit cards rose 8.9 times to 419.

Remind that, Expressbank has been in operation since 1989 as Azernegliyyatbank. In March, 2010, bankâ€™s brand was changed to Expressbank. It has 10 branches, 33 ATMs, 23 POS-terminals and 247 employees across the country.
