Bank Respublika launches Cash by Code service

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Bank Respublika has applied new service – “Cash by Code”.

Bank says with this service, the customers can send cash to persons, who do not obtain plastic cards. From the menu, select Cash By Code, then select "Send Money" and enter the phone number recipient.

The system generates code in two parts. The first part is printed in the form of a check and retained by the sender, the second part is sent as SMS to any mobile phone recipient. To obtain the cash it is necessary to enter both parts of the code. The code is active for 24 hours.

This operation is realized by the recipient without a card. Moreover, it can be done at ATMs of Bank Respublika, and more than 1,200 ATMs in 25 other banks, including the International Bank of Azerbaijan, Bank Sandard, AGBank, AtaBank, Xalq Bank, etc.

The commission for this service is charged only for cash withdrawals. It is 1% at the ATMs of Bank Respublika and 1.5% at other ATMs.

Remind that, Bank Respublika has been in operation since 1992.
