Azerbaijan gets 23% rise in positive balance of foreign trade turnover year-on-year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. State Statistical Committee says that the volume of trade operations with 132 countries reached $ 14,072.828 bln in January-May, 2011, up 32.98% in comparison with a year ago. In the period of report, $3,489.684 mln-goods were imported and $ 10,583.144 mln â€“ exported to the country. Positive balance made $ 7,093.456 mln.

The export operations rose 29.43%, import â€“ 45.06%, positive balance â€“ 22.83%, compared to a year ago.

95.53% of export was carried out by state, 4.16% - by private sector and d0.31% - by individuals.
