Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The sold goods and consumed payable services to the population made AZN 8.1 bln during January-May, 2011, up 9.4% from year earlier.

Sate Statistical Committee says populationâ€™s purchaser power increased during the same period. So that, each citizen consumed average AZN 179.7 consumer goods and payable services.

â€œ73.5% of real growth rate on consumption market came from retail trade, 4% - from catering, 22.5% - from paid servicesâ€, said the Committee.
