Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The volume of directed investments to basic capital by the Asian Development Bank in Azerbaijan was AZN 20,038.5 mln in January-May, 2011.
According to State Statistic Committee ADB rose the volume of the investments 3.8 times, compared with a year ago. The share of ADB investment in total foreign capital investments in Azerbaijan for reporting period made 2.4%.
Note that, Azerbaijan has been the member of ADB since 1999. At present, ADB is financing on the framework of Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program the rehabilitation and enlarge of Yevlakh-Gandja and Kazakh-Georgia motor road, Rail Trade and Transport Facilitation and etc.
