288 tax payersâ€™ property confiscated for tax debts in Azerbaijan

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. For collection of tax debts, the bank accounts of 18.6 thousand individual and legal entities have been frozen in 2010, Azerbaijan. According to Tax Ministry, the orders were sent to 25 banks and their branches in e-form. Thus, the orders have been sent to 18 618 debtors in electron form.

50 424 decisions on listing of properties of tax payers who doesnâ€™t pay off the debt were made, in 2010. Decisions have been closed in 33 49 cases of paying off the debts. Property was listed in 1 312 cases. 1 763 claims against the tax payers were sent to economic courts by tax agencies for put up the listed properties in specialized auction. 288 tax payersâ€™ properties have bee put up i auction, in 2010.

In general, the tax debts have decreased by AZN 1.6 bln in 2010.
