Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Alfa Sigorta has collected AZN 2.324 mln insurance premium in 2010, up 2.5 times in comparison to a year ago.
Company says the payments on insurance risks rose 10.7% to AZN 287.678 thousand.
The insurance premium on voluntary types made AZN 2.161 mln, on compulsory types – AZN 0.163 mln.
Most o premiums came from Vehicle insurance (AZN 0.965 mln), Personal Accident & Sickness Insurance (AZN 0.802 mln), Property Fire insurance (AZN 0.209 mln), Fire insurance (AZN 0.157 mln).
Most of payments went to Vehicle insurance (AZN 0.156 mln), Agricultural animals insurance (AZN 0.052 mln) and Personal Accident & Sickness Insurance (AZN 0.042 mln).
The payments on voluntary insurance types made AZN 0.283 mln, on compulsory types – AZN 0.005 mln.
Remind that, Alfa Sigorta has been in operation since 1997.
