Information about project of CBAâ€™s new administrative building divulged

CBAâ€™s present office was put into operation in 1998. The building that has a modern design and infrastructure for that period was constructed for 200 employees.

Over the past period the scale of fast-growing economy has increased, taking into account the deepening of countryâ€™s integration into global economy, CBAâ€™s scope has expanded, establishment and development of the new management and operational infrastructure units has become a necessity. Beginning of Research and Development Centre activity as well as Credit Registry Service, establishment of communications and strategic management departments are the examples of new administrative units created by the Central Bank. It is no coincidence that over the past period a number of CBA staffers has exceeded 500 people and this figure is expected to be increased. Necessity of construction of CBAâ€™s new office arose due to these reasons. For this purpose, it was conducted a study, and for construction of the new building of the Central Bank a number of well-known companies put forward their projects containing modern technology, the projects, carried out by outstanding European companies, were studied. According to the results of research to design a new administrative building of the Central Bank, the world famous Austrian company "COOPHIMMELB (l) AU", administering a project of the new administrative building of the European Central Bank, was selected.

In the design of the building such criteria like modern, unique of the appearance, the multi-storey were taken into account. Taking into consideration increasingly demand for cash of the country with fast-growing economy, the projects provides for establishment of the â€œTreasury Centerâ€ that meets to the international standards. At the same time the beginning of gold mining and forecasting its future growth makes it necessary to preserve the countryâ€™s gold reserves and the issue will be resolved in the new building.

Given CBA managerial and functional development in the 20-25-year perspective, the project reflects all infrastructures like conference hall, training rooms, parking, library and museum, accessible to the public.
For now, a new administrative building is in the progress of design and the final decision has not been made yet.
