Atrabank gets 51% growth in deposit portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseyngulueyv â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Atrabankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 39.668 mln, up 6.6% in comparison to 2010.

Bank says the deposit portfolio extended 50.8% to AZN 9.437 mln, including populationâ€™s deposit dropped 7.1% to AZN 550.07 thousand, loan portfolio soared 10.7% to AZN 28.319 mln, including consumer lending surged 49% to AZN 8.217 mln. Mortgage loan via bnakâ€™s special program fell 18.58% to AZN 3.040 mln.

Total capital gained 0.4% to AZN 10.954 mln, including authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 10.425 mln.

Not that, income increased by 6.7 times to AZN 3.367 mln, expenditure by 6.9 times to AZN 3.363 mln. Profit made AZN 3.56 thousand.

Staffs rose 6.1% to 192, average monthly salary advanced 0.9% to settle at AZN 426.

Remind that, Atrabank has been in existence since 1992. The bank operates 13 branches, 13 ATMs and 37 POS-terminals across the country.
