Expressbank gets 90% growth in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Expressbankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 135.153 mln, up 90% compared to a year ago.

Bank says the deposit portfolio rose 68% to AZN 74.291 mln, including populationâ€™s deposit approximately soared 4.7% to AZN 12.988 mln, term deposit increased by 4.3% to AZN 13.006 mln, demand deposits by 93% to AZN 61.284 mln.

AT the same time, loan portfolio rose by 2.4 times to AZN 49.371 mln, including consumer lending gained 36.3% to AZN 12.618 mln.

Total capital advanced by 2.2 times to settle at AZN 58.297 mln, including authorized capital doubled to AZN 51 mln.

Income made AZN 17.567 mln, up 2.4 times, expenditure surged 67.1% to AZN 10.914 mln.

Expressbank has been in operation since 1989. The bank operates 8 branches, 32 ATMs and 8 POS-terminals across the country.
