Azer-Turk Bank gets 17% rise in consumer lending

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Azer-Turk Bank’s assets stood at AZN 61.329 mln, up 7.01% in comparison to a year ago.

Bank says loan portfolio soared 3.04% to AZN 20.142 mln, including consumer lending surged 16.6% to AZN 12.237 mln. Deposit portfolio dropped 11% to AZN 31.758 mln, including population’s deposit made AZN 14.709 mln, term deposit stood at AZN 12.287 mln, demand deposit at AZN 4.422 mln.

Total capital increased by 0.9% to AZN 12.151 mln, including authorized capital approximately rose 10% to AZN 10.991 mln.

Note that, income soared 1.03% to AZN 7.640 mln, expenditure increased by 13.85% to AZN 6.520 mln. Profit made AZN 1.120 mln in 2010, down 38.96% compared to a year ago. Besides, bank established 1 branch, 3 ATMs and 1 POS-terminals.

Remind that, Azer-Turk Bank has been in operation since 1995. The bank operates 4 branches, 7 ATMs and 22 POS-terminals across the country.
