The candidacy of former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, has been approved for the position of ambassador to Britain, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, APA reports.
It is noted that on Thursday, March 7, 2024, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the candidacy of Valeriy Zaluzhny for the position of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has sent a relevant request for agrément to the British side," the statement said.
